The show included prototypes of modified tactical military vehicles as well as large caliber firearms. The show also featured diagrams that function as blueprints for the construction of invented assault rifles, and tank-like mobiles to be made from found objects, metal and plastic parts. Throughout the exhibit, Alfredo continued to live within the space and created a large cannon device for public display; the rocket launcher was placed at West Broadway and Broome: in an attempt to induce confusion and panic. Martinez’ inspiration is rooted deep in America’s obsession with conflict, and our inherent draw to destruction.
